Mais entre la vielle Angleterre traditionnelle et le Japon de l'école de Mahora, les habitudes du jeune Negi vont être quelque peu bousculées, car ici la magie est interdite. Etre prof à 10 ans, ce n'est pas de tout repos ! Surtout que sa classe est composée exclusivement de jeunes filles plus âgées que lui et qui voient d'un mauvais oeil ce nouveau professeur d'anglais. De plus sa classe est la pire de l'école et Negi doit cohabiter avec une jeune demoiselle, farouchement éprise du professeur que Negi remplace ! Mais pas question pour ce jeune sorcier de baisser les bras. Son statut de Magister en dépend et pour atteindre son but, il devra répandre le bien autour de lui, souvent au détriment de ses élèves !")
